Islam vs. Cultural Practices

This is my initial comment on female genital mutilation in Islam:
Islam has proven excellent at eradicating incompatible cultural practices: female genital mutilation is not in the Koran, but it is evidently in the misogynistic spirit of the Koran.
Which soon attracted the typical Muslim response:

The Critical G It's cause is the Arab culture , not Quranic culture . The pagans practised such mutilation . The non-Arabs don't practise such kind of mutilations . This is also practised in some countries like Somalia and Nigeria .

To which I respond:

Firstly, girls are mutilated across the Muslim world. Secondly, Islam is excellent at eradicating every cultural practice not compatible with Islam and replacing it by a compatible one. Take for example the imposition of hijab on women in non-Muslim countries: wherever Islam is prevalent, violence towards women who do not submit to this barbaric practice soon follows. If mutilating little girls' vaginas was not compatible with Islam, it would have been eradicated just as surely as uncovered hair. Islam teaches pure hatred of women (and children, and atheists, and kaffirs, and apostates, and anyone who doesn't conform) and the increasing popularity of female genital mutilation is a direct consequence of these teachings.
